The plant can produce up to 10,000,000 pounds per year (ppy) of antimony oxide that is used as a flame retardant in plastics, paints and textile goods, as a catalyst in plastic bottles, as an opacifier in ceramics, and for many other uses. The plant also can produce up to 5,000,000 ppy of antimony metal that is used in storage batteries, bearings, and ordnance. Other antimony products are sodium antimonate used as a flame retardant and for removing bubbles from glass.

By using a proprietary furnace design, the plant also produces silver, gold, lead, copper and bismuth as
byproducts from antimony raw materials.

MEXICO ANTIMONY, SILVER AND GOLD FACILITIES

2)   LOS JAUREZ ANTIMONY SILVER AND GOLD DEPOSITS, QUERETARO, MEXICO

USAC holds three antimony, silver and gold concessions that are collectively called the “Los Juarez” property.

3)   SOYATAL MINING DISTRICT, PINAL DE AMOLES, QUERETARO, MEXICO

USAC through USAMSA holds a Supply Agreement with Pinar de Amores S. A. de C. V. on 4 concessions in the Soyatal Mining District.

4)   USAMSA FLOTATION MILL, GUANAJUATO, MEXICO

A flotation mill is currently being moved to  to this location.

5)   ANTIMONY SMELTER, ESTACION MADERO, COAHUILA, MEXICO

USAC through its wholly owned subsidiary, USAMSA, owns and operates this smelting facility.

Bear River Zeolite Company is a wholly owned subsidiary of USAC with extensive natural zeolite deposits, that mines, mills, packages and ships a variety of zeolite products.
